Initiative by Prithvi CleanTech (In 2022)
In 2022, Prithvi initiated the establishment of Prithvi Institute, focusing on vocational skill development.
The primary goal was to empower economically disadvantaged youth aged 18-25 with employable skills and connect them to job opportunities or entrepreneurial ventures.
Prithvi Institute also offered valuable practical experience through internships and industrial visits.
Today, Prithvi Institute runs programs nationwide, providing access to entry-level positions and placements in ten major vocations.
In the year 2022-2023, the organization impacted over 500 young individuals, equipping them with the necessary skills to secure entry-level employment or launch their own businesses.
To Train all eligible youth in 14-35 age group in the trades of their preference,provide facilities for acquisition and upgradation of skills of the unskilled and semi skilled workforce,enabling Provision for the vulnerable section e.g. women, pwd and minorities. 30% targets are earmarked for women; 20% for minorities,provide trainings in NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) compliant courses only.
Prithvi Cleantech embarked on a significant partnership by becoming a training partner for the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM). This collaboration focuses on empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for a sustainable and cleaner future. Through this initiative, Prithvi Cleantech contributes to the development of a skilled workforce in the state of Uttar Pradesh, enhancing employment opportunities and environmental sustainability. Together with UPSDM, Prithvi Cleantech is fostering a brighter, greener tomorrow.
